In Summary – the Alien User Workflow is a special tool which is used to provide sophisticated Finance and Timesheet controls when sharing Users between Offices.
Most of the Configuration and Setup is conducted only once – by a Finance Manager – when two offices agree to share resources.
This agreement to share resources is managed by the ‘Inter-Company Agreement‘ in the Address Book.
Once the Inter-Company Agreement is setup, then the Users can be shared between Projects in the two Offices – with Custom Roles if required – by a normal Project Manager.
The only on-going management required is the Review and Approval of any new ‘Alien User Phantom Projects‘ that are created – whenever a new Alien User invitation is initiated.
