Pulse Reviews works by providing a structured way to manage multiple ‘Rounds‘ of Review for a single Asset or Deliverable.
Thus, a Pulse Review is structured in the following way:
- Review > Rounds
- A single Review may go through many ‘Rounds‘ of feedback.
- A ‘Round‘ may include multiple Assets or URLs
- Each ‘Round‘ can involve a different Version of a Document or URL
- A ‘Round‘ can be classified as either ‘Internal‘ or ‘External‘ for Reporting purposes.
- Also, a ‘Round‘ can be classified as either ‘Planned‘ or ‘Un-Planned‘ for Reporting purposes.
- Each ‘Round‘ can achieve a ‘Decision‘ (Approved, Not-Approved, Approved with Changes)
- Round > Stages
- Within each ‘Round‘ of Review, you can create multiple ‘Stages‘
- By default, a ‘Round‘ must have at least one Stage
- Each ‘Stage‘ can have it’s own Reviewers and ‘Decision Rules‘
- Each ‘Stage‘ can achieve it’s own ‘Decision‘
- Using Multiple Stages is useful if you want to control the Sequence of a Review
- Also, using Multiple Stages is useful if you want to use different ‘Decision Calculations‘ for different Reviewers in a single Round.
- Stage > Reviewers
- Each ‘Stage‘ will have it’s own Reviewers
- A ‘Stage‘ can have one or more Reviewers
- The ‘Reviewers‘ on a Stage will have their own Permissions (‘Comment‘, ‘Make Decision‘, ‘Manage Review‘)
- The system will Automatically notify each Reviewer in the Stage when it is their time to provide Feedback or make a Decision.
