A ‘Master Client‘ is a simple placeholder to group together related Brands. A Master Client is used only to provide additional MetaData in reports and in the various Filter options in Pulse.
Creation and Management of Master Clients is conducted via the Address Book with two simple forms.
Only Users with ‘Manage Brands‘ Permission can Create and Manage Master Client.
Steps to Create Master Client
- Go to Address Book
- Select the ‘Master Client’ Tab
- Click ‘Create Master Client’
- Enter the Name and details for theMaster Client
- Click ‘Save’ to save the new Master Client
Notes on creating a Master Client:
- Once the Master Client is created, you can go back and edit the Brands that should be linked to the Master Client if required.
- Changing the Master Client for a Brand has no affect on the Projects linked to the Brand. The only affect is how the Projects linked to the Brand will show in ‘Roll-Up’ Master Client Reports.
